Cherokee Rock Village

Cherokee Rock Village

Where? This in North Alabama, at 2000 Co. Rd 70, Leesburg, Al 35983

Trail Length? As long as you want it to be. There are several trails to explore, but many people go just for the rock climbing.

How hard are we talkin’? It’s as easy or as hard as you need it to be. There are some great trails, one in particular is 7.1 miles long and pretty difficult. Many people come here to rock climb, some people come to watch the sunrise, which doesn’t require any physical effort other than waking up super early.

Can I swim here? No

Any other details? This is a great place to camp, hike, rock climb, explore and watch the most beautiful sunrise in the state (I guess that part is an opinion) but the horizon is HUGE and you’re sitting way up high above the trees with nothing to obstruct your view. It’s a stunner for sure.
