Where? Co Rd 3500, Haleyville, AL 35565 If you search it on your phone, put in this address. There are a lot of incorrect addresses on the internet for this one. We followed 3 wrong addresses before finding this place.
Trail length? The entire trail is a mile in length and it’s very flat. There are handrails under the bluffs and the natural bridge.
How hard are we talkin’? This is a beautiful walk on a very flat trail. This location is so underrated! I would put it on my “must see” list.
Can I swim there? There is water here, but it’s more for wading. It’s definitely not deep enough to swim.
Any other details? There is a 2.oo fee to get in. There is a cute little shop you visit before starting down the trail. There is a natural spring that bubbles up behind the building and a few Indian artifacts on display collected by visitors. There are picnic tables on the property and once again this place is SO COOL! Put this on your “must see” list.
Leave no trace: Although this park is managed by someone on site, they don’t want to pick up your trash, or your kid’s trash, so please enjoy the natural bridge and pack out everything you brought in. 🙂
